Christmas in the City

On Saturday our family,(including my Grandparents) went into New York City to enjoy the sites all decorated for Christmas. Our first stop was Macy's on 34th street. It was so fun to see the huge store and the old wooden escalators. They had the 9th floor all decorated for Christmas and it was very nice!If you know me well enough you know that I love shoes, well Macy's is the place to go,they have two floors of shoes!Back outside it started to down pour!So we ended up buying some umbrellas and started out on our 13 block hike to Times Square and Rockefeller Center.
We stopped at McDonald's in Times Square to dry off and eat something hot!
I must say I have never seen so many TV screens in my life, some of them must have been 5 story's tall! When we finally got to Rockefeller center we were amazed at the tree!It was so beautiful. The ice skating was also fun to watch!Since it had started to really rain hard we decided to complete our NYC experience by taking the Subway back to Macy's(that is where we parked the car).So in the end we saw a lot even in the rain! Here are some pictures(Noah did not get too many because of the rain.) Hope you enjoy them!

Youth Bible School

Last week me and Noah had the privilege to go to a week long Youth Bible School.
In total there were 660 youth everyday! Our family had three girls come to stay at our house and Noah went and stayed at the Taylor's house so he didn't have to share the bathroom with six women (which includes my Mom).We had a great time! Each afternoon we were broken up into groups of 9 or so which were called prayer groups. There you could share what the messages meant to you and pray.We also had a chours! We spent an hour everyday practicing for Sunday night which was our program.I am still trying to get a video clip of it so you can hear it.The CD of the singing won't come till January. Here are some pictures of our week.
